Really though, some days go by like a hurricane and then you’re laying in bed trying to figure out what happened. Things seem to be falling into place, which is nice. I’m starting to get caught up on my video game playing. I have 3 Mario Bros. games to complete and Wind Waker and Mario Kart. It’s all hella fun. i have been enjoying my new series of books that are any where from 600-800 pgs long. Good story though. I’ve been hanging with my son who is getting very talkative. I’ve been hanging with my boy friend, who has been making life enjoyable. Things are good today.

Besides that, the weekend went pretty well. I was productive, with a little help from my friends we have gotten out almost all the stuff I wanted from the house. Next weekend will be cleaning the house. MP, S, Little Man and I checked out the Taste of Colorado. It was cool, but little Man got a little grumpy and tired in the heat. He ended up falling asleep an hour before we left. I played some video games and we even had a group sharing of video games that went very well. Ya know, teaching an only child how to share can be difficult. Little Man has been very good this week and has had only one accident at night so far. The potty training thing is almost at an end. It’s really just getting past the nights now.
To all my friends in Summit. I’m sorry that I haven’t been out to visit, but I miss you all. I will be out snow boarding, but I hope to see you all sooner than that. My life should be settling down here in the next month!

This weekend I’m going to try to get the work out of the way Saturday so I can enjoy the rest of the weekend. Three of us are going up to the old house and throwing everything into a U-Haul. Any takers?? Really it shouldn’t take more than 3 hours or so depending on how many break we take. Then in high hopes that the weather is agreeable, we might go tubing down in Golden on Sunday. Lots of fun!! Monday might be a day to hide in doors and be lazy and play video games and such. Little Man asked to go swimming again so I figure I can pull that of Monday or Tuesday. We’ll see. Hope you all enjoy the long weekend and don’t have to work too hard (Breck Folks).

Yesterday went just like I expected. Well, except for the part that the mediator thought that trying to pull a fast one aka lie to the judge was okay. Let me explain. We, yes we, went to mediation. The lady let X in and he wrote her a check there. So much for rules. Things progressed and it seemed that she favored X. Then came the tricky part. We put in the Parenting Plan papers that I am going to pay half of Little Man’s benefits and that I don’t require X to pay child support. Remember this is in the paper work now. The the Mediator said we still needed a Child Support Worksheet because it’s really up to the judge to waive the child support. So she offered to print out the sheet for us. Well, she printed out 2 different sheets. One said that X was paying all medical benefits and was 30/mo. The other one said we were paying half each on medical and dental and was 92/mo. Then the Mediator said that we should just attach the 30/mo one because the judge might just look at that and waive it. Okay STOP Does anyone see any thing wrong with this picture? Yeah, the Mediator is trying to pull a fast one here. The 30/mo worksheet DOES NOT match the Parenting Plan. WTF!?!?! So, when the two weren’t paying close attention I slipped one of the CORRECT worksheets into my bag. I feel the judge should know what he’s really waiving if he chooses to do so.
Then we went and signed everything. Everything!! I should be officially divorced Sept. 24th. YAY!! So, of course, it’s was left up to me to file everything. I went out to the courts and filed everything and then told the ladies there what happened. I told them I was filing both Child Support Worksheets because I didn’t want to lie to the judge. The lady there told me that it was best that I filed both and that if the judge asks why there’s two, to just tell him what I told her. The X doesn’t know I did that yet. Jerk.

Oh boy! Here’s another fun part of the whole divorce thing. I go through mediation today. X said he was going this morning. I don’t know if he talked to some one, or if he’s going to show up with payment in hand and they’ll let him in. I really don’t know. I was hoping he just wouldn’t come really. If he does get let in then I know that the lady broke the rules. I’ll need a full report of this rule breaking. But all in all, he said that he was ready to sign. Hopefully he still will. You never know what he will do from one day to the next. 1:30pm is the time we will be in some court room hoping that he isn’t an asshole. Oh boy!

So everyone put some good thoughts into the universe for me. If this happens, I will be able to move into a place in a month. I hope so, really. I’ve been trying to find a place to live, which has been semi difficult, but I might have found the place. A few things need to happen first, but it’s sounding good right now. Yay me! Life hasn’t taken any exciting turns yet. My puppy has a nice place to stay for the time being. He’ll be happy to be with his mommy again too. Well, I’m off to pick up the kiddo!

I am lost, so if you happen to pass by me on the street, please return me to my home. Oh, make sure you tell me who I am when you find me , because I apparently don’t know this. Also, I found out last night it’s not me that’s getting a divorce from my X, it’s my sister!! Congrats M.! I’ll pass all the paper work to you to fill out, it’s really a pain in the arse.
I actually got a lot done this weekend. I enjoyed the botanic gardens with the kids. I went around looking at places to live. I even got the parenting class done. S. bought me Wind Waker too. I really want to play it all week. I told my son I would return the game system, but I know he could live without it until Sunday. I could also play Fable instead, but for all those Zelda fans out there, you how addicting Link games can be.
Everyone keep their fingers crossed for my doggie. I might have found him a temporary home here in Denver, but I have to introduce him to the other guys animals tonight. If this doesn’t work out, my friend A. said she could help me. Hopefully, I’ll have my own place soon. Yay Me!

Which translates into 3 months. Wow, life has been good. Yes, he’s still asking for me back. He hasn’t called me names lately though. Yes, he knows I’m dating some one. He’s screwed up in the head and I wish for him to go away now. Harsh you say. Every time I’m kind of nice, he falls onto the “I know we can get over this and get back together, just let me schedule some therapy with my church counselor.” *GAG* You should see the text messages. This is why I’m cold to him, he apparently doesn’t get that his soon to be x-wife hasn’t been living with him and has been dating some one else. 3 months folks. *JIG JIG*

I couldn’t help it. No really, all I could see is this cute little face handing me a Wii wheel saying, “For you Mommy.” Then I clicked the button, the one that says buy it now. It’s a gift to spoil my child, but he loves racing games and he was so good when I told him we had to leave it and go. I’ll have just as much fun, really. Mario Kart is on it’s way. My bad.

Awesome weekend. Probably should have involved the camera some where, but we didn’t. Friday night S. and I went to see the Hush Sound at the Bluebird. The first band, Morning Light, was okay and I’d like to hear some of their music recorded. The lead singer had trouble singing into the mic so everyone could hear him. The second band, Steel Train was okay, but I didn’t like them as much. They had the same problem as the first band. The third band was The Cab, described by S. as, boy band meets rock ‘n roll. It really was, and they just didn’t give off a good vibe. The Hush Sound rocked. All in all we had a blast.
Saturday, we did a short visit with Little Man to Buffalo Bill Days. It was ridiculously expensive for the kids rides and fun. I let Little Man play in one air race bounce thing-a-ma-jig, then we left. After lunch we headed out to Lakeside, where Little Man had a blast. We did ride plenty of rides including the train. Then we decided food was needed, so the rest of the night was spent playing games and relaxing.
Sunday, was a lazy day. We attempted to take Little Man swimming, but he was too fittish. So we gave up on that and just hung out all day.
